ReplyDeleteHieroglyphics were very helpful to Egyptian people and it happened 5000 years ago.
The Egyptian people like floods because they got more water and it was very hot. They stopped building pyramids because robbers stole jewels from the mummies so they decided to bury them underground.
Ancient Egypt has really big pyramids in the desert.

The people of Ancient Egypt built mudbrick homes in villages and in the country. They grew some of there own food and traded in the villages for the food and good they could not produce.

ReplyDeleteI have a friend who used to teach in Eygpt. She used to take the classes on school trips to see the pryamids- imagine that! Once they even had a camel that tried to get into the playground. She is now teaching in Scotland- they dont have camels there!

The ancient Egyptians lived along the banks of the Nile river in Egypt. About 95% of Egypts population still live in the Nile Valley, area next to the river.
